Sandy Hook Media Spectacle

I found the articles to show more of a media spectacle. There was a lot of images and raw videos that showed the murders. These created a media spectacle because people could actually "see" what happened. The stories were similar to Fymer's claims. The fact that there is more of a phycological issue in youths. It is an object of fear. These stories frame the essential problem of mass shootings that young people are commiting huge crimes. It has something to do with them and their subcultures. For example the views of goths. There is more to the problem then them just wanting to kill. They either want the attention or the fame of commiting such a crime. This is a problem that leads back to parenting. If a child is raised without getting much attention then they will most likely search for attention through these kinds of things. This is the problem and that parents need to make sure that they raise their children right. I personally think parenting leads to everything a child does. If they act out for attention like this then their is probably more to the issue and it leads back to how parents raised them.
